Alaska Divisional Rank Maps

During 2015, NCEI's Climate Monitoring incorporated Alaska climate division data into its analysis suite. The newly adopted dataset represents temperature and precipitation values across Alaska's 13 climate divisions. The product is similar to the rank maps that represent the historical values in the Lower 48. These rank maps help depict monthly and seasonal temperature and precipitation outcomes, based on their placement in the 1925-to-present period of record.
