This dataset contains community structure of fish and macrobenthos, surveys of selected coral and fish assemblages, sediment monitoring, benthic faunal sampling, and fish census data from selected sites near ocean sewage outfalls around Oahu, Hawaii. These data were gathered by the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa Water Resources Research Center (WRRC). Sites include Barber's Point Outfall, Mokapu Ocean Outfall, Sand Island Deep Ocean Sewage Outfall, and Waianae Ocean Outfall.

Purpose Determine the status of the marine resources in the vicinity of the discharge in an effort to quantitatively ascertain if any impacts are occurring to the coral reef biota.

Processing Steps
  • 2015-04-22T00:00:00 - NOAA created the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) by merging NOAA's National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC), and National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC), including the National Coastal Data Development Center (NCDDC), per the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2015, Public Law 113-235. NCEI launched publicly on April 22, 2015.
