This dataset includes current measurements, navigational, and other data collected aboard the R/V Sally Ride during cruise SR2309 in the North Pacific Ocean from 2023-05-10 to 2023-05-15. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, GPS, and bathythermograph - XBT. These data were collected by Jennifer Fehrenbacher of Oregon State University; College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences, and by University of California - San Diego; Scripps Institution of Oceanography as part of Collaborative Research: Foraminiferal Ecological Response to Ocean Conditions in the Northwest Pacific. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.

A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession.
