This dataset contains chemical data collected from 2018-05-09 to 2018-05-11. These data include pH. The instruments used to collect these data include pH Sensor. These data were collected by Peter J. Edmunds and Robert Carpenter of California State University Northridge as part of the "Collaborative Research: Ocean Acidification and Coral Reefs: Scale Dependence and Adaptive Capacity (OA coral adaptation)" and "Moorea Coral Reef Long-Term Ecological Research site (MCR LTER)" projects and "Long Term Ecological Research network (LTER)" and "Science, Engineering and Education for Sustainability NSF-Wide Investment (SEES): Ocean Acidification (formerly CRI-OA) (SEES-OA)" programs. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2020-06-12.

The following is the text of the dataset description provided by BCO-DMO:

Dataset Description: pH measured by a seafet sensor from in-situ flume experiments to manipulate pCO2 on shallow tropical coral reef communities at UCB Gump Research Station Moorea, French Polynesia in May of 2018. These data are for a proof of trial experiment for the Shallow COral REef Free Ocean Carbon Enrichment (SCORE FOCE), outlined in Srednick et al. (2020).
