This dataset contains data collected on R/V Atlantis and R/V F.G. Walton Smith during cruises AT18-02 and WS1010 from 2010-05-26 to 2010-12-02. These data include depth. These data were collected by Samantha B. Joye of University of Georgia as part of the "RAPID Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill: Deep pelagic and benthic impacts of the oil spill (DWH_Deep_Microbes)" project and "Gulf of Mexico - Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill (GoMX - DHOS)" program. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2019-08-01.

Supplemental Information	Acquisition Description: AT18-02 Notes: 11/27/10 Operations: Brine Microbial Observatory Project (included in another data submission). 11/30/10: Subsequent MUC/CTD operations were not completed due to the bad weather. WS1010 Notes: There were no stations numbered 65 and 74. There was no CTD cast number 78. Personnel transfers took place on 5/29/10 and 6/2/10 to 6/3/10.
