This dataset contains biological and survey - biological data collected on R/V Kilo Moana and R/V Roger Revelle during cruises KM0414 and ZHNG09RR in the North Pacific Ocean from 2004-06-24 to 2005-08-16. These data include abundance, depth begin, depth end, and taxon. The instruments used to collect these data include Intelligent Operative Net Sampling System and MOCNESS. These data were collected by Deborah K. Steinberg of Virginia Institute of Marine Science as part of the "VERtical Transport In the Global Ocean (VERTIGO)" project and "Ocean Carbon and Biogeochemistry (OCB)" program. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2020-01-16.
