This dataset contains chemical and physical data collected at Richard B Gump Research Station - Moorea LTER during deployment MCR_Edmunds from 2014-04-03 to 2014-06-15. These data include Aragonite Saturation State, pCO2, pH, salinity calculated from CTD primary sensors, and total alkalinity. These data were collected by Peter J. Edmunds of California State University Northridge as part of the "The ecophysiological basis of the response of coral larvae and early life history stages to global climate change (Climate_Coral_Larvae)" project. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2023-01-23.

Dataset Description:
Data published in Marine Biology paper entitled “Interactive effects of ocean acidification and neighboring corals on the growth of Pocillopora verrucosa” and in JEMBE paper entitled “Effect of elevated pCO2 on competition between the scleractinian corals Galaxea fascicularis and Acropora hyacinthus”.
