This dataset contains current direction and current speed taken by ADCP and single point current meters, water temperature taken by MicroCATs, and others taken by CTD from moorings and research vessel Justo Sierra in Straits of Florida, between Key West, FL and Cuba. The moorings were deployed on 2012-07-08 during Canek26 cruise and recovered during Canek57 cruise in Aug.-Sep. 2023.
This dataset is U.S. State Department MSR RATS U2012-010, U2013-011, U2014-009, U2016-014, U2018-011, U2019-028, and U2023-012 as part of the World Data Service for Oceanography. Data are in NetCDF and text format. Cruise reports are in PDF and DOC. The dataset also contains raw (unprocessed) data in proprietary formats.
