This dataset includes surface underway, chemical, meteorological and physical data collected during the R/V Discovery UK-Natural Environment Research Council (UK-NERC) Shelf Seas Biogeochemistry cruise DY103 (EXPOCODE 74EQ20190625) in the English Channel, Celtic Sea and North Atlantic Ocean from 2019-06-25 to 2019-07-09. These data include partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - atmosphere, partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - water, sea surface salinity and sea surface temperature and barometric pressure. The instruments used to collect these data include barometric pressure sensor and carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer.

The major objectives of the measurements is to provide a high quality measurements of sea surface fCO2, sea surface salinity and temperature in the English Channel and Celtic Sea coastal areas. |
