abstract: Sediment samples were collected from two sites in Barataria Bay, Louisiana, including Barataria Bay Borth (BBN) and Barataria Bay South (BBS) on 2019-03-18. The coordinates for BBN and BBS are 29.420417 N, 89.944028 W, and 29.343889 N, 89.940833 W, respectively. A clam shell sampler was used to collect surficial samples from bay bottom. Two samples were collected at BBN, namely BBN1 and BBN2. Two samples were collected at BBS, namely BBS1 and BBS2. Two duplicates from each sample were analyzed using a laser particle size analyzer. The attached Excel files are volume percent vs. particle size in um (micron). Lab methods are outlined in Li et al. (2021).
