This dataset contains biological, chemical, optical, and physical data collected on R/V Kilo Moana during cruise KM1312 in the North Pacific Ocean from 2013-07-02 to 2013-07-27. These data include PAR, conductivity, conductivity from the CTD secondary sensor, dissolved Oxygen, fluorescence, potential temperature, salinity calculated from CTD primary sensors, salinity calculated from the CTD secondary sensors, sigma-theta, temp2, water pressure, and water temperature. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD Sea-Bird 9, LI-COR Biospherical PAR Sensor, Sea-Bird SBE 43 Dissolved Oxygen Sensor, Wet Labs CSTAR Transmissometer, and Wet Labs ECO-AFL/FL Fluorometer. These data were collected by Zackary I. Johnson of Duke University and Erik Zinser of University of Tennessee Knoxville as part of the "Seasonal and decadal changes in temperature drive Prochlorococcus ecotype distribution patterns (POWOW)" project. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2019-12-30.

The following is the text of the dataset description provided by BCO-DMO:

Processed CTD data from POWOW3 cruise (KM1312).

Dataset Description:
Binned-profile CTD data from cruise KM1312 during July 2013. Data were processed with Sea-Bird SBE Data Processing Version 7.21K using windows and filters as described below.
