abstract: This dataset includes navigational data collected aboard the MELVILLE during cruise TUIM13MV in the Coastal Waters of Southeast Alaska and British Columbia and North Pacific Ocean from 2005-08-18 to 2005-08-30. These data include LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, course over ground and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include GPS. These data were collected by Craig Nicholson of University of California - Santa Barbara, and by University of California - San Diego; Scripps Institution of Oceanography as part of A Test for Extending the High-Resolution Climate History Back to ~450ka. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file.
