| Abstract: | This dataset contains NorthEast Water Polynya (NEWP) current meter data from 4 moorings, each with 2 or 3 current meters at different depths. Parameters include water temperature, conductivity, salinity, sigma-T, current direction, and current speed. The NorthEast Water Polynya (NEWP) is a coastal, reduced-ice region on the northeast Greenland shelf between 77 degrees north and 81 degrees north. It is the northernmost of several polynyas along the east Greenland coast. |
