Title: Delayed XBT data assembled for the Global Temperature-Salinity Profile Programme (GTSPP) and processed 1996-05-20 to 1996-05-26 (NCEI Accession 9500128)
Abstract: This dataset contains 35 files of data collected as part of Shipboard Environmental data Acquisition System (SEAS) III and SEAS IV program. The cruises were conducted using 25 different ships. The bathythermograph (XBT) data was collected between December 17, 1993 and June 1, 1995. The XBT data was sent from the cruise ships to the National Ocean Service (NOS), Rockville, MD via telecommunication. This data was received at NODC via Chris Noe of NOS. Accompanying format information was provided by Darren Wright.
