Title: |
Delayed XBT data assembled for the Global Temperature-Salinity Profile Programme (GTSPP) and processed 1996-05-20 to 1996-05-26 (NCEI Accession 9500073) |
Abstract: |
This dataset contains 16 sets of data collected as part of Shipboard Environmental data Acquisition System (SEAS) III program. The cruises were conducted using over 16 different ships. The bathythermograph (XBT) data was collected between September 14, 1994 and March 3, 1995. The data from 922 drops was sent from the cruise ships to the National Ocean Service (NOS), Rockville, MD via telecommunication. This data was received at NODC via Chris Noe of NOS. |
