Title: WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from VREELAND in the NE Atlantic and Red Sea from 1991-05-01 to 1991-06-27 (NCEI Accession 9100118)
Abstract: The data in this accession were collected from Red Sea, NE Atlantic (limit-40 W) from ship VREELAND between May 1, 1991 to June 27, 1991. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Navy. Sixty three stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and are present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.
