SALINITY - SURFACE WATER, air temperature, barometric pressure, sea state, sea surface temperature, water depth and wind speed data were collected in the Coral Sea, Great Australian Bight, Gulf of Mexico, Indian Ocean, North Atlantic Ocean, North Pacific Ocean, South Atlantic Ocean, South China Sea (Nan Hai), South Pacific Ocean, Southern Oceans (> 60 degrees South) and Tasman Sea as part of Tropical Ocean Global Atmosphere (TOGA) project. The data were processed by NODC and are currently available in NODC F156 Drifting Buoy Data file format. |
