Abstract: Temperature profile data were collected using XBT casts from the AFRICAN COMET and other platforms in the Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, and more locations. Data were collected from 06 June 1974 to 12 November 1980. Data were collected by the US Navy; Ships of Opportunity and Farrell Lines with support from the Gulf of Mexico NOAA/NMFS Ships of Opportunity (SOOP) project.
