Title: Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, water temperature, salinity and other variables collected from surface underway observations during the container ship Cap Victor ships of opportunity (SOOP) cruises in the Caribbean Sea, North Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean from 2006-05-23 to 2006-09-03 (NCEI Accession 0080969)
Abstract: This dataset contains surface underway measurements of partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, water temperature, salinity and other variables collected during the container ship Cap Victor ships of opportunity (SOOP) cruises in the Caribbean Sea, North Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean from 2006-05-23 to 2006-09-03. SOOP cruise names and EXPOCODEs: CV2006_05 (06CK20060523), CV2006_07 (06CK20060715), CV2006_08 (06CK20060821). Since 1992, underway CO2 observations have been made between New Zealand and the U.S. West Coast. This effort was conducted with the support of NOAA's Ocean Observing and Monitoring Division in the Climate Program Office (CPO).
