Title: NOAA Integrated Ocean and Coastal Mapping (IOCM) orthorectified mosaic image tiles, Potomac River, Maryland, 2008-2009 (NODC Accession 0074378)
Abstract: These data are orthorectified mosaic image tiles produced from 2008 aerial photography of the Potomac River, Maryland. The images were acquired at a 1:30,000 scale. Images have been ortho-rectified and mosaiced to produce a seamless data set. This imagery was orthorectified by Aero-metric to conform to the specifications set forth by NOAA for production of orthophotos in Contract Number DG133C06CO0055, Task Order Number T0007. Ortho-rectified mosaic tiles are not intended for mapping, charting or navigation.

Orthoimages are visually inspected for completeness to ensure that no gaps or image misplacements exist within and between adjacent images. These images are derived by mosaicking multiple images to ensure complete coverage. Data are in .tif, .his, and .jpg formats with included metadata. Source imagery is cloud free.
