Title: Underway meteorological and physical data collected by NOAA Ship Townsend Cromwell in the Pacific Ocean from 2002-01-21 to 2002-04-29 (NCEI Accession 0000723)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway meteorological and physical data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship Townsend Cromwell in the South Pacific Ocean and North Pacific Ocean from 2002-01-21 to 2002-04-29. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
