Title: Underway physical and meteorological data collected by NOAA Ship Townsend Cromwell in the Pacific from 2001-01-30 to 2001-06-06 (NCEI Accession 0000485)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway physical and meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship Townsend Cromwell in the South Pacific Ocean, Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument, Coastal Waters of Hawaii, North Atlantic Ocean, and North Pacific Ocean from 2001-01-30 to 2001-06-06. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
