Title: Temperature, salinity and dissolved oxygen profile data from globally distributed Argo profiling floats through the month of November 2017 for the Global Argo Data Repository, 1995-09-07 to 2017-11-30 (NODC Accession 0042682)
Abstract: These data represent all data collected from Argo profiling floats through the current month (November 2017). The NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) operates the Global Argo Data Repository (GADR) as the long-term archive for the International Global Argo Project (for additional information about Argo, see http://www.argo.ucsd.edu/). Argo data have been archived by NCEI on a monthly basis starting the second quarter of FY 2003. These data may include real-time and/or delayed-mode profiles of ocean temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen as well as related conductivity and/or pressure measurements. These data were collected by Argo profiling floats and other profiling float data not directly handled by the Argo data assembly centers. Profiling floats have been deployed since 1995 by several research projects.

Supplementary information: This data collection is updated each month, selecting the version of the data with the largest version number will ensure that the data user is downloading the most recent month of data available from NCEI.

These data were collected and made freely available by the International Argo Program and the national programs that contribute to it (see http://www.argo.ucsd.edu, http://argo.jcommops.org). The Argo Program is part of the Global Ocean Observing System.

In this accession, NCEI has archived multiple versions of these data. The latest (and best) version of these data has the largest version number.
