The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Temperature, salinity, and other profile data collected from CTD and bottle casts from the CLIVAR-Carbon Hydrographic Office (CCHDO) from 05/03/1975 to present (NODC Accession 0038589)
Abstract: These data represent all data collected from CCHDO through the first quarter 2009 (January 30 2009). Because this data collection is updated quarterly by automated processes performed by NODC, selecting the version of the data with the largest version number will ensure that the data user is downloading the most recent data available from NODC. This accession contains temperature, salinity, nutrients, and some trace element profiles processed by the CLIVAR & Carbon Hydrographic Data Office (CCHDO).
