Title: CTD data from R/V Hugh R. Sharp cruise HRS2212 in the Chesapeake Bay during August 2022 (NCEI Accession 0294402)
Abstract: This dataset contains biological, chemical, optical, and physical data collected on R/V Hugh R. Sharp during cruise HRS2212 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2022-08-12 to 2022-08-19. These data include conductivity, density, depth, dissolved Oxygen, fluorescence, potential temperature, salinity, sound velocity, water pressure, and water temperature. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD Sea-Bird 9, Niskin bottle, Sea-Bird SBE 43 Dissolved Oxygen Sensor, and Wet Labs ECO-AFL/FL Fluorometer. These data were collected by Bess B. Ward of Princeton University as part of the "Nitrite Oxidation in Oxygen Minimum Zones (NO2Ox_OMZs)" project. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2023-06-22.

The following is the text of the dataset description provided by BCO-DMO:

Chesapeake Bay CTD 2022

Dataset Description:
Acquisition Description:
Water samples were collected using a 12 x 10-liter Niskin bottle rosette sampler equipped with a conductivity, temperature, and pressure instrument package (SBE9, Sea-Bird Electronics, Bellevue, Washington, U.S.A.), a sensor for dissolved oxygen (SBE43, Sea-Bird), and a sensor for chlorophyll fluorescence (FluoroWetlabECO, AFL FL Sensor).
