This data set contains water temperature, salinity, and others taken by CTD and water samples from the R/V Araon in Aug. 2023 in Bering - Chukchi Sea area. The expedition was a part of an ongoing project on the Korea-Arctic Ocean Warming and Response of Ecosystem (K-AWARE) project of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Korea. The objective of K-AWARE are to identify key environmental parameters (physics and biochemistry) in rapid transition due to the sea-ice decrease in the western Arctic Ocean(Bering Strait and Chukchi Sea). These data are composed of physical, chemical and biological parameters. This data set is MSR/RATS U2023-007 as part of the World Data Center for Oceanography. Data are in XLS and TXT formats. |
