This study estimated the concentration of microplastics (i.e. plastics measuring less than 5mm; reported in unit of pieces per kg dry weight) in sediments from protected areas of the Gulf of Venice (northern Adriatic Sea) during 2017-11-10 to 2018-04-06. Microplastics were collected using a Van Veen grab. This dataset contains the results from all 19 sediment samples, in a spreadsheet format. |
