| Abstract: | This dataset contains biological, chemical, meteorological, optical, and physical data collected on R/V Hugh R. Sharp during cruise HRS1610 from 2016-08-07 to 2016-08-17. These data include barometric pressure, conductivity, density, depth, dissolved Oxygen, fluorescence, potential temperature, salinity, and water temperature. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD Sea-Bird 911, Dissolved Oxygen Sensor, and Fluorometer. These data were collected by Margaret Mulholland of Old Dominion University as part of the "Cyanate in the Sea: Sources, Sinks, and Quantitative Significance (CyanateInTheSea)" project. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2024-03-19. The following is the text of the dataset description provided by BCO-DMO: Station CTD profiles Dataset Description: Methods and Sampling: Standard hydrographic measurements of temperature, salinity, oxygen, and chlorophyll (Chl) fluorescence were made using a Seabird SBE 911 conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) unit combined with a fluorometer and an oxygen sensor mounted to a rosette sampler equipped with 12 ten-liter Teflon-coated Niskin bottles during a cruise from August 6 to 16, 2016, aboard the R/V Hugh R. Sharp. |
