Title: Coastal meteorological and water temperature data from National Water Level Observation Network (NWLON) and Physical Oceanographic Real-Time System (PORTS) stations of the NOAA Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS) during October 2023 (NCEI Accession 0285728)
Abstract: The National Water Level Observation Network (NWLON) is a network of long-term water level stations operated and maintained by the NOAA Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS). NWLON stations are located on shore-based platforms, and primarily collect real-time water level measurements. Almost 25 CO-OPS Physical Oceanographic Real-Time Systems (PORTS) comprise a group of water level stations in and around U.S. ports and harbors. Most of the NWLON and PORTS stations also collect real-time meteorological data. Data parameters include barometric pressure, wind direction, speed and gust, air temperature, and water temperature.
