Title: Biological, chemical, and other data collected aboard the POINT SUR during cruise PS1922 in the Gulf of Mexico from 2019-05-28 to 2019-06-05 (NCEI Accession 0278982)
Abstract: This dataset includes biological, chemical, and other data collected aboard the POINT SUR during cruise PS1922 in the Gulf of Mexico from 2019-05-28 to 2019-06-05. These data include Attenuation/Transmission, CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), Chromophoric Dissolved Organic Matter (CDOM), DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, irradiance, speed over ground, and surface irradiance. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor, echo sounder, fluorometer, oxygen sensor, and transmissometer. These data were collected by Frank Hernandez of The University of Southern Mississippi, and by Moss Landing Marine Laboratories as part of Hernandez. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.

A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession.
