| Abstract: | This dataset contains biological, chemical, optical, and physical data collected on R/V Blue Heron during cruises BH09-05, BH09-12, BH10-03, and BH10-14 in the Arctic Ocean, Bay of Bengal, Great Lakes, Indian Ocean, North Atlantic Ocean, North Pacific Ocean, Philippine Sea, South Atlantic Ocean, South China Sea (Nan Hai), South Pacific Ocean, Southern Ocean, and Tasman Sea from 2009-06-13 to 2010-09-01. These data include O2 saturation, PAR, conductivity, dissolved Oxygen, fluorescence, pH, salinity calculated from CTD primary sensors, water pressure, and water temperature. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD Sea-Bird SBE 911plus and Niskin bottle. These data were collected by Elizabeth C. Minor and Josef P. Werne of University of Minnesota Duluth as part of the "How important is quote old unquote Carbon in Lake Superior. A Radiocarbon Investigation (Lake Superior Radiocarbon)" project. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2019-10-29.
