Title: CTD data collected off the Oregon Coast on three cruises aboard NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada during 2018 (NCEI Accession 0277714)
Abstract: This dataset contains biological, chemical, optical, and physical data collected on NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada during cruises SH-18-01, SH-18-04, and SH-18-11 in the North Pacific Ocean from 2018-02-27 to 2018-09-25. These data include conductivity, density, depth_bottom, dissolved Oxygen, fluorescence, salinity calculated from CTD primary sensors, water pressure, and water temperature. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD Sea-Bird 911. These data were collected by Kim S. Bernard of Oregon State University as part of the "RAPID: The ecological role of Pyrosoma atlanticum in the Northern California Current (NCC Pyrosomes)" project. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2021-01-22.

The following is the text of the dataset description provided by BCO-DMO:

Dataset Description:
Acquisition Description:
CTD casts were made using a Seabird CTD 911 to near the sea floor (as deep as 2000m at some stations). Details of sampling and analytical procedures can be found in O’Loughlin et al. (2020).
