The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Physical trajectory profile data from glider ng619 deployed by Integrated Ocean Observing System Program (IOOS), Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey; Center for Ocean Observing Leadership (RU COOL), South African Data Centre for Oceanography, US DOC NOAA (NOAA), and US Navy; Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) in the Mid-Atlantic Bight from 2019-09-10 to 2019-09-19 (NCEI Accession 0240162)
Abstract: This Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) Littoral Battlespace Sensing (LBS) glider was deployed as part of a multi-institutional effort that brings together the research and operational components within NOAA, the Navy, and the university community to implement and carry out sustained and targeted ocean observations from underwater gliders in the North West Tropical Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico, Mid and South Atlantic Bights. The upper ocean thermal structure in this region has been linked to rapid intensification of tropical cyclones, and to the seasonal Atlantic hurricane activity. However, there are only few (
The National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) received the data in this archival package from the Integrated Ocean Observing System's National Glider Data Assembly Center (IOOS NGDAC). The IOOS NGDAC received the data in one or more netCDF files comprising an entire glider deployment. The data are measurements of physical oceanographic properties such as temperature, salinity, conductivity, and density. The IOOS NGDAC checked the files for compliance to their netCDF file convention, aggregated the files into a single netCDF file, and then submitted the file to NCEI for long-term preservation.
