| Abstract: | This dataset includes physical, profile, and underway data collected aboard the RV Nathaniel B. Palmer during cruise NBP1901 in the South Atlantic Ocean, South Pacific Ocean and others from 2018-12-21 to 2019-01-23. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), SALINITY, and WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, and GPS. These data were collected by Robert Dunbar of Stanford University, and by Raytheon Polar Services Company as part of Estimation Of Antarctic Ice Melt Using Stable Isotopic Analyses Of Seawater, Initiation Of The Antarctic Slope Front In West Antarctica. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. The ADCP data represent the raw data set. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
