Title: Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity and other hydrographic and chemical data collected from discrete samples and profile observations during the R/V James Clark Ross cruise JR18002 (EXPOCODE 74JC20181103) in the Drake Passage, South Atlantic Ocean, Southern Ocean from 2018-11-03 to 2018-11-23 (NCEI Accession 0220636)
Abstract: This dataset includes discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, nutrients, chlorofluorocarbons (CFC-11, CFC-12, CFC113) and carbon-14/13 during the R/V James Clark Ross cruise JR18002 (EXPOCODE 74JC20181103) along the Global Ocean Ship-Based Hydrographic Investigation Program (GO-SHIP) Section SR01b in the Drake Passage, South Atlantic Ocean, Southern Ocean from 2018-11-03 to 2018-11-23. The International GO-SHIP Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS/CLIVAR hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.
