The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: In situ, physical and profile data collected by Fisheries Research Services Marine Laboratory, GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel, Havstovan Faroe Marine Research Institute, Marine and Freshwater Research Institute, Scottish Association for Marine Science, University of Akureyri and University of Hamburg; Institute of Oceanography at OceanSITES site NACLIM from 1993-01-01 to 2016-09-01 (NCEI Accession 0220084)
Abstract: In situ, physical and profile oceanographic data were collected, including DEPTH - OBSERVATION, FLUX - HEAT, LATITUDE and LONGITUDE from moored buoy at the North Atlantic CLIMate Moorings (NACLIM) using ADCP, CTD, conductivity sensor and current meter from 1993-01-01 to 2016-09-01. These data were provided to one of the OceanSITES Data Assembly Centers (DAC). The DAC formatted this information into the OceanSITES file format and passed it on to the Global Data Assembly Centers (GDAC).

OceanSITES is a worldwide system of long-term, open-ocean reference stations measuring dozens of variables and monitoring the full depth of the ocean from air-sea interactions down to the seafloor. It is a network of stations or observatories measuring many aspects of the ocean's surface and water column using, where possible, automated systems with advanced sensors and telecommunications systems, yielding high time resolution, often in real-time, while building a long record.
