Title: National Coral Reef Monitoring Program: Carbonate budget data of Bird Key reef in Dry Tortugas from 2018-07-10 to 2018-07-11 (NCEI Accession 0207699)
Abstract: This archive package contains census-based carbonate budget data that was collected from coral reef habitats located in Dry Tortugas. Surveys were conducted at Bird Key coral reef. Six transect surveys (10m each) were conducted to quantify benthic cover, macrobioerosion, and microbioerosion. Ten parrotfish surveys were also conducted to account for parrotfish erosion rates. These carbonate budget data were collected at the long-term monitoring site during NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological (AOML), Coral Reef Conservation Program (CRCP) led NCRMP missions.
