Title: Underway physical and meteorological data collected by NOAA Ship RONALD H. BROWN in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean from 2004-09-22 to 2004-11-28 (NCEI Accession 0001939)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway physical and meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown in the Southeast Pacific Ocean (limit-140 W), Northwest Atlantic Ocean (limit-40 W), North Atlantic Ocean, North Pacific Ocean, South Pacific Ocean, Caribbean Sea, and Northeast Pacific Ocean (limit-180) from 2004-09-22 to 2004-11-28. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
