Title: Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity and other hydrographic and chemical data collected from discrete samples and profile observations during the R/V James Cook cruise along the Global Ocean Ship-Based Hydrographic Investigation Program (GO-SHIP) Section A9.5, 24S (EXPOCODE 740H20180228) in the South Atlantic Ocean from 2018-02-28 to 2018-04-10 (NCEI Accession 0191085)
Abstract: This dataset includes discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, nutrients and carbon-14/13 during the R/V James Cook cruise along the Global Ocean Ship-Based Hydrographic Investigation Program (GO-SHIP) Section A9.5, 24S (EXPOCODE 740H20180228) in the South Atlantic Ocean from 2018-02-28 to 2018-04-10. The International GO-SHIP Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS/CLIVAR hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.
