Abstract: This dataset contains water temperature profiles from XBT casts collected in the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, Ligurian Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Southern Ocean, Strait of Gibraltar, and Tyrrhenian Sea from 2017-10-07 to 2019-03-19. These data were collected aboard the Apa, Horizon Leader, La Superba, La Suprema, Maersk Vilnius, Mercury Ace, Nuka Arctica, Ooids, S.A. Agulhas II, Sirius, and Tubul as part of the Ship of Opportunity High Density XBT Transects Program for transects AX1, AX7, AX8, AX10, AX18, AX25, AX97, and MX4 and submitted by Gustavo Goni of AOML.
