The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Biological, chemical, current measurements, in situ, meteorological, physical, and profile data collected by Hellenic Centre for Marine Research at OceanSITES site PYLOS from 2010-03-23 to 2024-03-09 (NCEI Accession 0131162)
Abstract: Biological, chemical, current measurements, in situ, meteorological, physical, and profile oceanographic data were collected, including AIR TEMPERATURE, BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, CHLOROPHYLL A CONCENTRATION, CURRENT DIRECTION, CURRENT SPEED, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, WAVE DIRECTION, WAVE HEIGHT - MAXIMUM, WAVE HEIGHT - SIGNIFICANT, WAVE PERIOD, WAVE PERIOD - AVERAGE, WAVE SPECTRA, WIND DIRECTION, WIND GUST, WIND SPEED, and turbidity from moored buoys at the Pylos Observatory (PYLOS) using ADCP, CTD - moored CTD, anemometer, barometer, fluorometer, meteorological sensor, and thermistor from 2010-03-23 to 2024-03-09. These data were provided to one of the OceanSITES Data Assembly Centers (DAC). The DAC formatted this information into the OceanSITES file format and passed it on to the Global Data Assembly Centers (GDAC). This dataset includes all of the data that has been provided to NCEI for this site.

OceanSITES is a worldwide system of long-term, open-ocean reference stations measuring dozens of variables and monitoring the full depth of the ocean from air-sea interactions down to the seafloor. It is a network of stations or observatories measuring many aspects of the ocean's surface and water column using, where possible, automated systems with advanced sensors and telecommunications systems, yielding high time resolution, often in real-time, while building a long record.
