Abstract: Bacteria, carbon dioxide and methane measurements were collected using bottle casts in the Cariaco Basin on the continental shelf of Venezuela from 30 April 2001 to 17 January 2002. Data were submitted by Dr. Mary Scranton of State University of New York in Stony Brook with support from the CArbon Retention In A Colored Ocean (CARIACO) project.
