Title: BIOMASS, SALINITY, TEMPERATURE, TAXONOMIC CODE and species abundance tows - plankton tows data collected in the North Atlantic Ocean on the ENDEAVOR and OCEANUS cruises EN307, EN330 and others as part of the GB project from 1997-10-11 to 1999-12-09 (NCEI Accession 0106090)
Abstract: This dataset includes tows - plankton tows, biological and physical data collected aboard the ENDEAVOR and OCEANUS during cruises EN307, EN330, EN331, OC332 and OC334 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 1997-10-11 to 1999-12-09. These data include BIOMASS, SALINITY, TEMPERATURE, TAXONOMIC CODE and species abundance. The instruments used to collect these data include Multiple Opening/Closing Net and Environmental Sensing System (MOCNESS). These data were collected by Peter Wiebe of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution as part of GB. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NODC on 2013-04-26.

The following is the text of the abstract provided by BCO-DMO:

The primary objective of the project was to quantify the distribution of the diapausing copepod Calanus finmarchicus and its primary invertebrate predators in Wilkinson, Jordan, and Georges basins of the Gulf of Maine.
