| Abstract: | This dataset contains meteorological, optical, and physical data collected on R/V Edwin Link during cruises EL9904 and EL9905 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 1999-01-01 to 1999-12-31. These data include SST at 5m, air temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, radiation_l, radiation_s, and salinity calculated from CTD primary sensors. The instruments used to collect these data include Thermosalinograph. These data were collected by Peter C. Smith of Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Karen Fisher of Cornell University, and James P. Manning of Northeast Fisheries Science Center - Woods Hole as part of the "U.S. GLOBEC Georges Bank (GB)" project and "U.S. GLOBal ocean ECosystems dynamics (U.S. GLOBEC)" program. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2019-10-28.
