Definition: The Bay of Fundy, situated on the eastern coast of North America, is bounded on the West, the North and the East by the coast of Maine, in the United States, and the coasts of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, in Canada. Its southern limit with the North Atlantic ocean is the following: On the South: A line joining Cape St. Mary (44 Degrees 05 Minutes N - 66 Degrees 12 Minutes 30 Seconds W), on the southwestern coast of Nova Scotia, in Canada, northwestward to Machias Seal Island (44 Degrees 30 Minutes 06 Seconds N - 67 Degrees 06 Minutes 10 Seconds W), and thence to Western Head (44 Degrees 38 Minutes 40 Seconds N - 67 Degrees 11 Minutes 25 Seconds W), on the coast of Maine, in the United States.
