Project description: Understandings for the mechanism of spatio-temporal variabilities of physical/biogeochemical environment in the Oyashio region.Physical oceanographic observation started 1987 and chemical/biological measurement followed from 1990.Observations are still ongoing, and monitoring parameter consists of CTD data from surface down to 3000m, bottle salinity, nutrients and Chloropyll-a data from surface to 200m depth (or 3000m depth after 2002 except for Chloropyll-a).
