| Comments: | Nexans, the worldwide leader in the cable industry, has signed a contract with the French Atomic Commission (CEA, Commissariat lEnergie Atomique), for the supply of cables and equipment to a nuclear test ban monitoring project called, "HA4-Crohydro".
"Crohydro" is a monitoring system developed under an international agreement that forms part of the International Monitoring System of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty Organisation CTBTO*, which is based in Vienna. The system, designed to monitor the test explosions of Nuclear weapons, will be laid on the ocean bed in the area around the Crozet Islands.
