Code:
Term: Ocean and Land Colour Instrument
Description: OLCI (Ocean and Land Colour Instrument) is a medium-resolution imaging spectrometer that uses five cameras to provide a wide field of view. SLSTR and OLCI are optical instruments with an overlap of their swath path, allowing for new combined applications. This is currently the only sensor in space with the capabilities of detecting cyanobacteria
Definition: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentinel-3, retrieved 2018-03-14)

The SENTINEL-3 Ocean and Land Colour Instrument (OLCI) is based on the opto-mechanical and imaging design of ENVISAT's MERIS instrument. The main characteristics of the OLCI are:
swath width: 1 270 km
push-broom imaging spectrometer with five cameras, mitigation of sun-glint contamination by tilting cameras in westerly direction
spatial sampling: 300 m @ SSP
spectrum: 21 bands [0.4-1.02] µm
radiometric accuracy: 2% abs, 0.1% rel
launch mass: 153 kg
size: 1.3 m3
design lifetime: 7.5 years.
