Data were collected by the University of Washington (UW) as part of the International Decade of Ocean Exploration / Coastal Upwelling Ecosystems Analysis (IDOE/CUEA). Data were published as 'STD measurements off Spanish Sahara, March/April, 1974' and copies are located at NOAA Central Library, Silver Spring, MD and NOAA Regional Library, Seattle, WA (GC.C612 no. 36). |

The design of the database did not exactly reflect the FGDC Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM).
