Phytoplankton data include taxonomic names and taxonomic counts. Hydrochemical data include alkalinity, chlorophyll concentrations (a,b,c), and total CO2 concentrations. Data were submitted by the Office de la Recherche Scientifique et Technique Outre-Mer and are in a comma separated value (.csv) format. |

The design of the database did not exactly reflect the FGDC Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM).
